The Delta State Independent Electoral Commission Board headed by Chief Mike Ogbodu, has fixed January 6, 2018 for the local government elections in all 27 council areas of the state. The Chief Press Secretary to Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State, Mr Charles Aniagwu had disclosed how the Delta State Government spent the N10bn it recently received from the Federal government as part of the Paris Club excess loan deduction refunds.
