PDP NATIONAL CONVENTION: TONY OBUH EMERGES AS DELEGATE

The Ika South chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP), has elected a prominent personality from Agbor Kingdom, Sir Tony C. Obuh, as delegate for the party’s forthcoming national convention.
He was elected by the consensus vote through a well organized election by the party Ward delegates held on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at the party secretariat.
Briefing the press, the Ika South PDP Chairman, Hon Collins Bello, explained that Sir Obuh having emerged as national delegate will represent the local government at the party’s forthcoming national convention.
He observed that the election which produced the delegate was peaceful and thereby commended the party Ward delegates for the exercise. He appealed to PDP members to work together to further strengthen the party ahead of the local government council election and that of the 2019 general elections.
