A community leader and Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Chieftain in Delta State, Sir Tony Obuh, has called on members of the party in Ward 6,Ika South local government to promote peace and unity in the ward, stressing that the party will achieve more if her members are working in unity.
Sir Obuh who stated this while addressing an enlarged crowd of Ward 6 PDP faithful at Agbor-Nta on Wednesday, September 6, 2017, said the place of unity in any organization or party can never be undermined; hence, he appealed to every member of PDP in Ward 6 to make unity their watch word for the interest of the party.
Speaking further, the PDP Chieftain, called on eligible voters in the ward who are yet to get their Permanent Voters Cards, PVC, to do so, noting that PVC is the key weapon for any eligible voter to exercise his or her franchise in any election.
He commended PDP women in the ward for their commitment and continued support for the party, urging them not to relent for the Governor Ifeanyi Okowa led administration in the state is out to better their lives even as he called on the youths to take the business of the party seriously for it has packages that will transform their lives
Hon Patience Onyesom (Last K) and the PDP youth leader of the ward, Mr. Kalistar Onaino, in separate remarks, stressed the need for unity, assuring that they will continue to support efforts by party leaders to move the ward forward.
